"Your God-Worship is Way Too Small..."

What happens when the Spirit of God says something that sends you reeling back???

News: I have been working pretty consistently on a rather scary writing project [working title  Worship⁷... you know, worship to the exponential 7th power...]... birthed in 2009 in Zambia (long chats with my friend Peter Mangawa) out of a desire to write down some of the things learned over the 40 years of worship ministry and playing, leading, training, recording and worshipping a million times on 5 continents... but now being built into a rather huge body of distilled content...

SO, opened a special Journal to record what God might be saying to me in this endeavor... and pretty early on, I asked "Okay, You led me to begin this project... waddup?" and ONE of the early astounding answers WAS... "well... see, your God-worship is WAY too small..."

What??? My thinking control-panel began to blink warning lights... Warning! Warning!

then... IN-COMING!!!

BOOM!!

Very embryonic spot in all this, but now spending time in deep scholarly Biblical works to see what the Scriptures show to COMPARE and CONTRAST what I call 'worship' (formed in what the current Church seems to refer to when they use words like 'worship')... ah, Grad school all over again...

Digging deep to try and find what the Scriptures mean by worship... example, implication and word definitions... looking at context... Hebrew and Greek meaning and usage... all those instances that I now look at thru western-mindset, 2015-eyesight///

Now, when I Journal, or work on the Worship⁷ content... now... my thinking control-panel goes, "ummm, another in-coming massive, mind-blowing, game-changing, life-altering Rev From Hev..."

Oh, and yes, my God- worship is way, way too small...

(whispered prayer: teach me to worship for real, Oh Lord...)
